This Way to Life:
The Exodus Way
In the second book of the Bible, we find an epic story of confrontation
and escape, danger and miracles, trust and provision. There’s a burning
bush, a staff becoming a snake, and 10 plagues … and that’s just the
first part of the book! Exodus tells the story of how the ancient Israelites
escaped slavery in Egypt and dodged Pharaoh’s army by miraculously
passing through a sea on dry ground.
But Exodus isn’t only about getting out of Egypt. The book establishes
a three-part pattern that repeats across Scripture: the road out of
captivity, the road through the wilderness, and the road to the land
of freedom.
To illustrate a story that repeats and unfolds, our Animation Studio
chose a gameboard theme for The Exodus Way video, which we released
in April 2025. It’s a visual journey with bends, setbacks, surprising turns,
and frightening oppressors. But just when it seems the path stops,
God makes a way.
It’s a way that leads humanity to a life of goodness and plenty, but it’s
not easy. It’s a path that brings us together as we navigate this Exodus
way of life as a community.
