Something Better Than
Magic in Orlando
Danny is a pastor at Mosaic Church in Orlando, Florida, a short
drive from Walt Disney World. Every Sunday, his pews fill up with
young people who work as cast members at “the most magical
place on earth.” They often move to the area for six to 18 months
before decamping to new jobs in new places. It’s a diverse,
always-changing gathering.
With so many new faces each week, Danny needed a way to anchor
his community. He discovered BibleProject and was soon having
lots of “lightbulb moments” as the seemingly disjointed parts of
Scripture began to connect. Our resources started shaping Danny’s
study, preaching, and discipleship. In 2024, after praying about
how to teach the Bible’s unifying narrative, he decided to create
the resource he thought his young people needed.
