What started as a prayer grew into a 10-week study Danny named
1Story. It walks people through the entire biblical story and creates
space for learning and processing, with a BibleProject video
informing each lesson. “We cover Genesis 4 through Deuteronomy
in one class,” said Mason, a pastoral resident at Mosaic who
co-wrote and taught the classes with Danny. “That’s a lot of
information, and having a BibleProject video each week helps
people take a step back and see the big picture.”
After the first study wrapped up in 2025, Danny asked his
group of 20-somethings what they thought. One person shared,
“Being able to highlight Jesus through these sessions has been so
eye-opening. It makes everything seem more real and applicable.”
Another said that studying Scripture has often made them feel
ignorant or inadequate, like they couldn’t understand its depth.
But this study gave them confidence and, with it, a fresh
excitement to keep learning.
“This is a renaissance of beauty happening by the movement of
the Spirit,” Danny said. Across the street from the Magic Kingdom,
God’s Kingdom is shining through Mosaic Church with something
better than magic. It’s leading people deeper into the Bible’s story,
which means deeper into the love of Jesus.
